The Eggman

C6 must've been a good kid this year – he got some pretty neat stuff in his Easter basket! My favorite were these awesome glowy Easter eggs. I found them through Mighty Junior. They glow and change color! Woo! C6 is using them as portable nightlights - he set 4 of them on his bedposts last night (see photo). He gave me one so I could have my own nightlight too. Must've been a good kid this year...

YOU...are a rockin' mom. My boys got Pokemon balls with little plush figures. I hate Pokemon. But I love my boys. Ah the sacrifices of motherhood.

I don't even know Pokemon. Is that something that eventually I will have to know having a son?

C6 saw a bit of "dragontales" on pbs the other day and he loved it. I don't!!! Ugh! At least it wasn't Barney. I guess. Sacrafices, indeed.

Pokemon - I don't think every little boy loves it. But my obsessive compulsive tendency boy loves anything where you can collect a ton of them and there are numbers involved (they each have a number) and you have to memorize facts about each one. It's low-brow trivia compared to his former memorization of birds or dinosaurs.

Dragon Tales bugged me for a long time. I cannot stand TV shows that teach my kids to whine. But it was rather benign and safe beyond the whining. I got over the whining blue dragon and lived with it until he moved on to the next thing.
