Lowercase n

I apologize for so many Sesame Street videos - I can't seem to pull myself away! This is a video about Lowercase n. It is so melancholy! And it really, deeply affected me as a kid. I haven't shown it to C6 yet, but I will. Poignant melodies really sadden him so I think he'll take a pass on this one but who knows. It does have a happy ending though!!! (Oops...did I just wreck it for you?)

By the way, I have created a Videoplayer of C6's favorite Youtube videos - there's a link on the sidebar over there ----->
Or just click here to see it.
He is in LOVE with the orange that sings opera, and the video of the Sesame Street muppets on the subway. Now that is one groovy tune - extreme 70's music and lyrics "Buy a token now for a ride that's SUPER WOW on the subway!!!" Dig it!!!

Linda,
That's one of my absolute favorites! That one and Capital I! I love it when they wash the I. Must be my OCD.

Hi Mark,

Wow! I forgot about Capital I!

I couldn't remember anything about it until I just checked it out . Immediately as the tune started I remembered. It sounds like the same songwriter/performer as "Lowercase n". I wonder what he's up to these days?

Oh my god, you are my hero -- I have loved these two songs for almost 40 years, no joke, and am DESPERATE to get them on CD, DVD or both. I've been sitting at the computer for an hour now Googling You Tube, Sesame Street videos, etcetera, trying to find any leads on how to procure "Capital I" and "Lowercase N" for my own. I"m still not sure how to fnd them recorded, but at least now I can view them online and know who sang them! Lowercase N makes me sob uncontrollably...I think I may need to get the lowercase N as a tattoo, because I am her and she is me (and we are all together. Goo goo ga joo.).

Peace! Amy

Oh my God, Ive been looking like mad for those 2 songs for years. I've been haunted by those songs lower case n and capital I since I was a child. It brought a tear to my eyes to finally find them somewhere.
If i ever get a tattoo it will be a tiny lower case n because I really identify with her so much.
